Mark is a speech therapist and a person who stutters. Prior to finding ARTS, Mark was tremendously impacted by his stuttering. As an undergraduate student, he studied finance and accounting, not due to a genuine interest in these subjects, but because he thought a career in these fields would require minimal oral communication. ARTS played an instrumental role in Mark’s journey of finding his voice, and led him to his passion — helping others find theirs.
Mark has presented on stuttering at ASHA and NSA conferences, and at the inaugural Ghana Stammering Conference. In his free time, Mark enjoys the outdoors, music, cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and fighting for a just and equitable society for all.
